About Camping World - Tyler
Camping World in Tyler is a large RV dealer and repair shop that also sells camping gear and parts. They handle roof work, AC fixes, and awning repairs, and offer services like financing, trade-ins, and consignment. The store is open weekends, which can be handy if something breaks mid-trip. With over 1,600 Google reviews and a 4.2 rating, feedback is mixed. Many people mention no-pressure sales and staff who know their stuff, especially in the parts department. One reviewer praised a salesman named Dan Clark for going the extra mile. But others have had rough experiences, like long waits for repairs or warranty issues that weren't resolved smoothly. Some felt ignored after paying in full. If you're shopping for a camper, several reviewers had good luck with selection and informative staff. For repairs, it might be worth checking recent reviews and confirming details before you commit. The service department handles AC, roof, and awning work, but a few customers reported problems after pickup, so inspect everything carefully.
