About Camping World - Oakwood
Camping World in Oakwood sells new and used RVs, takes trade-ins and consignments, and runs a service shop behind the lot. Reviewers mention roof, AC, and awning work. The store also carries parts, camping gear, and outdoor equipment, and can handle financing and insurance paperwork. Sales is where this location gets its best marks. Reviewers describe staff who listen, explain things to first-time buyers, and don't push. Several note deals that felt fair, and one buyer six hours away had paperwork arranged in Myrtle Beach and videos sent before pickup. The service side is more mixed. One reviewer praised a service advisor for staying in touch and fixing flooring damage from the recliners. Another said their camper came back worse than it went in and found problems after a long drive home. Same story from a new Thor owner who says an AC complaint went nowhere. Read the service reviews before you book.
