About Camping World - Harrisburg
Camping World in Harrisburg sells new and used RVs, takes trade-ins and consignments, and handles financing. The lot sits close to Hershey Park Campground, which makes it a handy stop if something breaks on your trip through central Pennsylvania. Reviewers keep mentioning the sales staff by name and describe them as personable and not pushy. Several say their salesman walked them through only the campers that matched their tow vehicle and budget, and one buyer brought their kids along and felt the staff paid attention to them too. The parts counter gets credit in at least one review for ordering a wheel bearing drum assembly overnight so a traveler could keep going. Not every review is warm. A used-camper buyer wrote about a rough experience and warned others to read the paperwork closely and get an independent inspection before signing. The shop handles roof and awning work, plus generator, body and parts service, and they are open weekends. Call before you haul in.
