About California Diesel & RV
California Diesel & RV is a diesel engine and RV repair shop on the Central Coast. They work on diesel, gas, and recreational vehicles, covering air conditioning, brakes, engine diagnostics, and BIT inspections. It's a busy, large shop, but reviewers often mention the friendly staff and great mechanics. Reviewers say they're honest and quick. One camper passing through had a fuel pump replaced in the exact time quoted, and when a small leak showed up, the shop fixed it for free. Another had a U-joint break and the drive shaft fall out; after a tow, they diagnosed and fixed it while keeping the owner informed. A check engine light at Oceano State Campground got checked the next day, and the codes let the trip continue. They've let people bring their own parts to save time and money. Not every visit is perfect: one reviewer felt a fuel injector job was too difficult and was charged anyway. For most, the fair pricing and helpful attitude keep them coming back.

What renters mention
“These guys are over the top for taking care of their customers. I had $4505.00 worth of work done on my Ford f350 6.0 liter at my local dealership before my trip to Pismo.” – Dale F., a year ago, on Google
“When my U joint broke and the drive shaft fell out I had my RV towed to another shop across the street from CD&RV. The other shop referred me to Joe and I couldn't have been luckier to find them!” – Arlene S., 6 years ago, on Google
“I’ve stopped into CA Diesel and RV 2 summers in a row while passing through the area in my diesel camper. Both times they have been SO helpful and very reasonable on pricing and job length.” – Jess B., a year ago, on Google
