About Bares RV Services
Bares RV Services is an RV repair shop in Traverse City, Michigan, and also shows up as an awning supplier, so awning work is the service people mention most. The shop keeps regular hours rather than being open around the clock. The reviews are a split picture. One owner describes an awning insurance claim that sat unresolved for months, with repeated calls and even a call from the insurer failing to move it forward before they gave up and went elsewhere. Another said the shop came recommended by a friend in town, but calls to both the office and a cell number went unanswered. Two short reviews just say the work was awesome. With six Google reviews averaging 2.5 stars, the common thread in the longer ones is communication. If you're mid-trip with a torn awning, call ahead and confirm someone is actually picking up before you plan around it.
